Great Phone!
I've had this phone for a while now and it is FANTASTIC!I upgraded to it from a blackberry storm thinking it wouldn't be that different from one smart phone to another, but boy was I wrong!I love my Droid; there are SO many more wonderful apps available for it and it I love that it syncs everything with my gmail.I am NOT very good with phones (tend to beat up on them a lot) but I have NEVER had any problems with this one breaking or anything.

Perfection
This multimedia device is truly one for the books. I believe it really rivals, if not tops off the Apple i Phone 3.0G s. It has amazing features and the size and screen quality are impeccable. The built in memory (16GB) accompanied by the expandable micro SD slot is also a great feature. This phone solves the need for having a digital camera, video camera, MP3 player, cellular device,portable messenger, portable web browser and video viewing device. All those components of the device are top of the line and not lackluster as compared to many other smart phones.

Motorola Droid...not perfect, but a large step in the right direction
I had many friends that owned iPhones...but i hate AT&T as did most of my friends with iphones agree :) I purchased the A855 as soon as it was availible. I was trying to decide betweent the A855 and the HTC touch pro 2(I had the htc mogul XV6700 before). End of the day, i picked up the A855 for the android operation system. The android operating system is so easy to use. I was tired of having to constantly reset my mogul. The windows mobile phones are not as customizable unless you go through the process of unlocking the phone...which I did on my Mogul. But unlockign the phone is a hastle.PROSScreen resolutionAndroid MarketGreat Verizon network(data and voice clarity)No problems with pairing with bluetooth devices(had issues with the XV6700)CONSKeyboard is barely raised up at all! (use the onscreen and download HANDCENT)Battery life (use a program like Locale to manage bluetooth, display, notifications, and sounds to save on...

Great phone!!!
I didn't buy this phone on amazon I bought it from the local verizon store. This is one of the best phone on earth! It run google android 2.0 which is open source so, this thing has endless possibilities! You can run multipliable apps at the same time, has a excellent GPS, 5 mp cam, a real keyboard and has around 10,000 - 20,000 apps so you will find something for you. I was even able to tether it for free(I didn't even need to root it!) Way better then the Iphone. The only phone I have seen that I though was better is the nexus one ;)No geek should be caught dead without one!

screen protector
Glad I got a three pack. I ruined the first one I installed (seems to be common). The fit is perfect, and it protected my screen from impact when it fell on some tools, put a gouge in the protector but no damage to the screen itself. I'd much rather wrestle with the installation of a new protector than try to replace the whole screen. Highly recomended

Better than the screen protectors sold by Verizon
I bought a pack of 3 screen protectors from Verizon when I got my Droid. When I was on my 3rd from that pack I decided to order these. Each of the ones I put on the phone from verizon had bubbles. I was less than optimistic about these because they were much cheaper. I am pleased to say that I put on one a few days ago and it went on flawlessly. No bubbles at all. You cant even tell that it's there. Another thing I like is that it covers the entire screen including the menu buttons. This was a small problem with the verizon protectors because they stopped at the menu buttons, so when you took off an old one there was a bit of grime to scrub off where the protector stopped and the menu buttons started. If this product holds up then it will deserve 5 stars. I gave it 4 because I've yet to use it for more than a few days. However, due to initial impressions of appearance, ease of application, and price, I give it 4 stars. Recommended.

not bad for the price...
After reading everyone else's reviews, I ordered these (for my Droid 2) thinking it couldn't hurt to try them out, since they were so inexpensive and shipping was free. Realizing other people had issues with the shields not fitting perfectly, I did a little trimming on the corners and bottom edge prior to sticking one on, and voila! For the price, if you're willing to take an extra minute to clean your screen and trim, these are an excellent deal. A couple days later, I managed to scratch my phone (still don't know how I did it!), and the screen was saved, so these little shields are effective. Shipping was also quite speedy, which was a huge plus.

this cover is spot on. it's exactly what the description says it is. it fits the phone very nicely and doesn't obstruct any sensors (like some others do). it's also not too bulky, so it doesn't get in the way, and it's easy to remove in case you need to get to the battery, &c.

Protects your Droid from most 'oops', just not the wet ones
The cover is actually two pieces, one for the front and one for the back to accommodate the sliding keyboard. Then the phone slides into the holster, screen toward the back. The holster has a rotating clip. This combination protects the screen when you are not using it while the cut outs provide access to all the buttons, the camera, and half of the speaker. Only half of the speaker because to allow much more would weaken the back case severely, increasing the probability that it would break because of a drop. It does not provide water protection. You have to remove the back of the case to access the battery/card compartment. And you still need a screen protector. (True of ALL cases.) This is actually my second case of this type. I bought the first one at the same time as my Droid, and it lasted through 15 months of drops. The tabs on the front cover finally gave up the ghost and without the front cover, the fit is not snug enough to keep the phone in the holster. I liked the first...
