Great Phone!
I've had this phone for a while now and it is FANTASTIC!I upgraded to it from a blackberry storm thinking it wouldn't be that different from one smart phone to another, but boy was I wrong!I love my Droid; there are SO many more wonderful apps available for it and it I love that it syncs everything with my gmail.I am NOT very good with phones (tend to beat up on them a lot) but I have NEVER had any problems with this one breaking or anything.

Open Life. Motorola Backflip with Motoblur
This is a great product. It is small, yet has a larger screen then expected. It has Motorola's imfamous Motoblur, which, may I say, is awesome, and it arrived so fast that Amazon said it hadn't even been shipped yet. Seriously. That happened. Lol! Battery life is great, and experiencing this phone is quite frankly amazing. It includes access to the Android Market, which has thousands of great apps (not redundant ones like Apple's Appstore has, with repeats of the same thing over and over, which is the reason they have millions of apps), and it has a brilliant screen even though the resolution isn't HD like Apple iPhone's "Retina" display. The three touch-sensitive buttons at the lower front of the phone are completely responsive, and it has a great 5MP camera for the average user. Amazing smartphone
If you are looking for a non-apple smartphone, this is it.Primary function, being a phone, is outstanding. The phone has a good reception and you are able to have clear conversations even in noisy environments like games or construction sites.Additionally, it is full of features with out of the box google integration. The screen is amazing and very responsive. Gps, camera and wi-fi works as expected. The full qwerty slider keyboard works great, however keys are too flat. Form factor is adequate. The phone is slim and not so heavy.Despite of the bugs mentioned in several forums, I haven't found any. The piece I got came already with the Android 2.1 update and works straightforward.It deserve a "well done" for the engineers at Motorola.

Great phone
This thing cost way too much, but it is a great phone. Every thing works, the keyboard is nice (except the keys are a little too flat), the screen, the camera, everything works well.I Have had two problems though - First I bought this phone to use with T-mobile, but it doesn't operate at the frequency T-mobile uses for their 3G service. Second, after the last upgrade it has randomly started playing music. It is a known bug with some work-arounds, but it is very annoying.So, with all the new variants coming out, I'd say look for something newer on contract first. But if there is a price drop (as stock and demand drop) this is a very capable choice.

Love it more than the iPhone
I've owned my Droid X since it came out, and I simply love it. I can't imagine having a different phone. I feel it surpasses the iPhone in a few ways. For one, it has a bigger and sharper screen. If you're planning to play games, watch movies or shows, this is the phone for you. It might not seem like it's "that much" bigger, but it is and it makes a difference. The screen is sharp enough that I watch Netflix and HBO shows on my phone all the time (did I mention the WiFi is strong enough on the phone for this to be possible?). Also, a lot of people think they simply must have their music on their iPods. Once I got this phone, I sold my old iTouch. Are iPods better at handling music then the Droid X? Yes. But is it a significant upgrade? No, not at all. The music quality is the exact same, so the only difference is the interface. Best decision I ever made
I purchased this phone 14 months ago, and still feel it was the best decision I could have made. I absolutely love the camera. The 8 megapixels means that I have clear, high quality pictures that I can use for digital scrapbooking, printing, and sharing with friends and family. I love that my video and still camera is always at my fingertips. In addition, I use this phone for hours every day to check email, text, play games, wake up in the morning, play music, listen to digital books, and find out how to get where I'm going. Oh, and sometimes I even make calls with it! It's pretty great for that too! I also like that the touch screen keyboard has good sized buttons. I rarely have typos, but have been known to have some auto-correct fails from time to time. The only thing I don't like about this phone is that I have to have two sets of music libraries, one on Amazon, and one on ITunes. Ah well, nothing is perfect.

This Droid X was a fantastic find! I bought it for my wife, and she loves it. Can't get it out of her hand! It looks brand new, and the best part is that all the downloaded songs from the previous owner are still on the phone. Excellent Phone! finally motorola redeems itself
So basically, I'm in Costa Rica, the phone works just fine, is supposed to be 4band and 4band 3G too so it will work with any carrier. I've had it for about 2 weeks and I can tell you is WONDERFUL. The screen is not hard to look at, is not too small, the screen resolution is very good so all that crap you hear is untrue but of course if you compare it to an EVO or an iPhone display obviously it will fall short. I have all sorts of apps installed on it and they work like a charm i send emails, sms, pictures quite fast, the processor runs like a charm I use app killer because i'm a dork but is not necessary. Battery life was a huge concern i was affraid when i bought it and again proved to be a myth i just lowered the backlight brightness and i easily make it thru the day and back home and still have 15-25% juice.The Only reason i give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of 2 HUGE improvement opportunities:#1 the camera is quite crappy... it will take your occasional...

Great Phone
I am working on a project and I needed an Android phone that I could take apart in pieces.I bought this phone because it was cheap, and lets be honest, it looks like is worth less than the price.Anyways, I got a prepaid plan with T-mobile just to get it going and in my way home I started playing with it and I was kind of impressed with its functionality. It was fast (no lag) and it had all the functionality of any android phone. By the time I got home, I had already played with the GPS, the back flick pad, online downloading (3G speed max) and the FM radio (YES, it has an FM radio with great quality [you need earphones, thou]). I was like holly poop, this phone is awesome! Not only that, I went to a friend house across the border in Mexico where there is no T-mobile signal. I connected my phone to his Wi-fi and there is an app in (already installed in the phone) that lets me use my T-mobile phone through the internet (I think this is a T-mobile exclusive app, but not...

If you don't live in USA, don't worry, it's very easy to activate this phone anywhere in the world. You can activate it by two ways: 1) Using Wi-Fi. You must create motoblur account (by Wi-Fi or by online) and than sign in using Wi-Fi. Also you will need google account. 2) After turning on the phone you must enter this code: [ALT], E, [ALT], E, B, L, U, R, O, F, F and the phone will start working without motoblur account.

Great Phone
Received the phone within 2 days of ordering it.Quick delivery .i appreciate Amazon for this.The phone is running smoothly .i rooted the phone using superclick.Itz an unlocked phone.All the necessary applications are running smoothly.The only concern is the low internal memory,u cannot download more applications but if u create partitions on ur sd card then it will be much better.overall battery life is gud ,applications are gud,sound clarity is gud,Keyboard is gud for heavy text msgsing guys.The android version running on this is 2.1 update 1. i have created 5 mail accounts using maildroid app and is running smoothly.I would recommend this to all.
