Amazing smartphone
If you are looking for a non-apple smartphone, this is it.Primary function, being a phone, is outstanding. The phone has a good reception and you are able to have clear conversations even in noisy environments like games or construction sites.Additionally, it is full of features with out of the box google integration. The screen is amazing and very responsive. Gps, camera and wi-fi works as expected. The full qwerty slider keyboard works great, however keys are too flat. Form factor is adequate. The phone is slim and not so heavy.Despite of the bugs mentioned in several forums, I haven't found any. The piece I got came already with the Android 2.1 update and works straightforward.It deserve a "well done" for the engineers at Motorola.

Great phone
This thing cost way too much, but it is a great phone. Every thing works, the keyboard is nice (except the keys are a little too flat), the screen, the camera, everything works well.I Have had two problems though - First I bought this phone to use with T-mobile, but it doesn't operate at the frequency T-mobile uses for their 3G service. Second, after the last upgrade it has randomly started playing music. It is a known bug with some work-arounds, but it is very annoying.So, with all the new variants coming out, I'd say look for something newer on contract first. But if there is a price drop (as stock and demand drop) this is a very capable choice.

Fast-charges the HTC Incredible
I use my Droid Incredible as my primary GPS car navigator, so I needed a car charger that could keep up with the power needs of Google Maps with the GPS running. The Belkin USB adapter says it puts out 1A, but my Incredible showed that is was only getting a trickle-charge (500 mA) from it, because the Belkin charger does not implement the latest USB charger standard (short the data pins for a fast charge).This charger shows up as an AC charger on my Incredible, and it is able to charge my phone even while I am using it for GPS navigation. Recommended for any newer phone that uses a micro-USB connector.

Overall, the set gets 5 stars because it contained (more than) the parts advertised, and it worked for the intended purpose - the #5 torq driver opened the battery compartment on a Philips Pronto 9400 remote control. Quality? The 13 pieces cost $10. At that price, the quality is *at least* as expected.Note that the set I received on 1/6/12 had 13 pieces:- 7 Torq drivers and 2 tweezers as shown.- 1 plastic prying tool, double-ended, green.- 1 flat + 1 philps head "jeweler's" screwdrivers, black plastic-like.- 1 unidentifed piece, a screwdriver-like piece I would describe as a "jeweler's size" awl.The set came in a re-sealable plastic bag, inside a small bubble-mailer, inside an Amazon box. The bag+mailer are adequate as a storage pouch.

The Ying and Yang of the Combo
This has both pros and cons.The pros, is that I received it and it had all the advertised items and also the drivers (yes I got the T3 that I really wanted) seem to be of a nice design, easy to hold and manipulate.So why a Yang?I can not ding them for this but it would have been very nice if this set came in any type of protective plastic box or holders. I received it in just a small, very tightly arranged white cardboard box. So there is no storage other than the cardboard box the set comes in. But that doesn't bother me as much as this is supposed to be a precision set (IE the T3 Torx bit is almost microscopic and fragile on the tip) but the box is SOOO tight that most all of the tips of the drivers arrived either punched through the cardboard or dented the box.I have not tried to see if the tiny tips have been damaged by the way too small box. A simple millimeter more in box length and a thing piece of foam would have at least...

Droid 3 Car Dock
This is my third Droid car dock (droid, droid 2, droid 3). They are significantly more expensive than a generic car dock but i like that this it specific to my phone. It comes with a car charger and, new with this generation, is an audio cable that can connect to your aux input for your car stereo to play music from your phone. Another improvement is the charger jack on the back of the dock. The droid 2 version required that you stick the plug straight into the jack on the back of the dock creating a awkward angle for the plug and stretching the jack input. This version connects from the side alleviating this issue. The dock seems sturdy and doesn't feel like it will break easily.One note...I think this is a phone issue rather than the dock but it's worth mentioning. With the Droid and Droid 2 versions, the phone automatically detected that it was in the dock and when into "Car Mode" which is Droid-speak for Navigation. With my Droid 3, this is not the case. I...

Great car dock for the Droid 3
This is a great product - well-constructed, sturdy, easy to use. It will hold the Droid 3 securely with or without a cover. Including the power hookup as an incorporated piece of the car dock, along with the combination of the charger cord and the audio cable makes for a cleaner implementation and a definite improvement over the car dock that went with the original Droid. Best I've found yet
I've been through three protective cases in nine months for my Droid. The first two eventually wore out so the tabs would not keep them attached to the Droid. One wasn't rubberized as it said on the ad, but it was a hard plastic case and protected well until the tabs gave way. With this one I decided to live on the edge and get someting besides black. You're never quite sure what you will get until it shows up, but this was exactly what I expected. Great color, (matches my new Honda Civic) and it is rubberized. In the couple months I've been using it, it is working and looking great. Added bonus, it costs less than most of the others I found online.
