Great phone. Hardware home keys concerns.
Had the phone for over a year now. Everyone said it was too big at 4.3 inches. But now large seems to be more beautiful.My concern is with the physical home keys. The menu, home, back and search keys are all physical. They are going to wear out before my contract is up. Better to get sofware home keys in my opinion.The phone has hardly ever failed to install and run well the new apps in the market. Thus it is plenty powerful to keep up with the more demanding apps coming out for newer devices. For instance, Jan2012 I installed the new Monoply game from the market. There were many cautionary tales in the app comments about the game needing a powerful phone, etc.. But the DroidX came through and rendered the game very well. It compared favorably to the install and game operation on my new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.I recommend the phone. Just be easy on button use. Battery. Ahhh. Dont expect miracles. Normal use shoud be fine. I purchased extra 2 batteries...

Pretty decent android phone
I purchased the Droid X about 8 months ago to replace my old chocolate II. Overall I have been pretty happy with the phone. The sound quality and reception is not as good as my old phone, but is not bad. The phone has plenty of memory for apps and runs the well with occasional freezing or force closes. Sometimes the freezing seems random. There are a ton of great apps and games that are free. The phone comes with some useful apps, but does have some useless bloat ware that you cannot remove.Phone is easy to operate. The only thing negative that I have to say would be the sound volume and camera. The sound volume is not very loud and the speaker is not very clear. This isn't an issue with games, but not very convenient for listening to music or ringtones. Since ringtones are not loud, it can be tough to hear phone ring if there is any ambient noise around. My only other complaint is the camera is slow to open when trying to take quick pics and when leaving the settings on...

One of the best Android phones ever owned
This is my 4th android phone I've owned, previously I had the continuum, fascinate and droid incredible. By far the droid x stands in line next to the fascinate for my taste.I loved the UI on the fascinate is was fast, clean,easy and the super amoled mad it better. I was a bit worried the high resolution on the droid x would not look as great as the super amoled, but when i received this phone it turned out to be a decent display! A lot better then the incredible for sure the display on it is horrible outside and looks grainy.I really like how this phone feels in my hands as well, feels very sturdy and heavy which is what i like. A lot of android phones I've handled feel so cheap and plastic.The camera on this phone is awesome and the pictures and videos come out crisp and clear with the 8mpxl camera. the UI of the camera app is not my favorite but it gets the job done. Overall, the set gets 5 stars because it contained (more than) the parts advertised, and it worked for the intended purpose - the #5 torq driver opened the battery compartment on a Philips Pronto 9400 remote control. Quality? The 13 pieces cost $10. At that price, the quality is *at least* as expected.Note that the set I received on 1/6/12 had 13 pieces:- 7 Torq drivers and 2 tweezers as shown.- 1 plastic prying tool, double-ended, green.- 1 flat + 1 philps head "jeweler's" screwdrivers, black plastic-like.- 1 unidentifed piece, a screwdriver-like piece I would describe as a "jeweler's size" awl.The set came in a re-sealable plastic bag, inside a small bubble-mailer, inside an Amazon box. Fast-charges the HTC Incredible
I use my Droid Incredible as my primary GPS car navigator, so I needed a car charger that could keep up with the power needs of Google Maps with the GPS running. The Belkin USB adapter says it puts out 1A, but my Incredible showed that is was only getting a trickle-charge (500 mA) from it, because the Belkin charger does not implement the latest USB charger standard (short the data pins for a fast charge).This charger shows up as an AC charger on my Incredible, and it is able to charge my phone even while I am using it for GPS navigation. Recommended for any newer phone that uses a micro-USB connector.

Best I've found yet
I've been through three protective cases in nine months for my Droid. The first two eventually wore out so the tabs would not keep them attached to the Droid. One wasn't rubberized as it said on the ad, but it was a hard plastic case and protected well until the tabs gave way. With this one I decided to live on the edge and get someting besides black. You're never quite sure what you will get until it shows up, but this was exactly what I expected. Great color, (matches my new Honda Civic) and it is rubberized. In the couple months I've been using it, it is working and looking great. Added bonus, it costs less than most of the others I found online.

Magnetic tips are awesome!
These magnetic tips work great! I used them when replacing my Zune battery and fixing a couple of my Xbox controllers! Great product. The Pry tool also works great (a little flimsy though). Works pretty good!
I used this set of torx tools to replace the Hard Drive of my macbook pro 13 (2010). You have to use the T5 to unscrew the 4 safety screws on the base hard drive and put them on the new Hard Drive. The set came with all tools and arrived pretty fast. I have nothing to complain.

I needed to replace a screen on my Motorola Razr, so I ordered this kit along with the screen replacements. The little Torx drivers are well-designed for their task of working on small electronics. The spinner head lets you turn fasteners quickly and easily, and they seem the right size for average hands. The plastic pry tool, on the other hand, is designed to be soft and malleable so it doesn't scratch your phone as you take the shell apart.However, in practice, the plastic is so soft that it doesn't pry either. You are left with a phone that is still firmly fastened together and a pry tool that looks like the dog has been chewing on it. I had to carefully use a metal flat-blade screwdriver for the prying duties, and threw away the plastic tool. Otherwise, a good product that performed as intended.
