Fast-charges the HTC Incredible
I use my Droid Incredible as my primary GPS car navigator, so I needed a car charger that could keep up with the power needs of Google Maps with the GPS running. The Belkin USB adapter says it puts out 1A, but my Incredible showed that is was only getting a trickle-charge (500 mA) from it, because the Belkin charger does not implement the latest USB charger standard (short the data pins for a fast charge).This charger shows up as an AC charger on my Incredible, and it is able to charge my phone even while I am using it for GPS navigation. Recommended for any newer phone that uses a micro-USB connector.

For those interested...The output rating of the Motorola SPN5504 Battery Charger (as of April 2011, no longer directly stocked by Motorola) is 850 MA (milliamperes) at 5.1 volts. The lithium-ion battery within the Motorola Droid 2 Global cellphone, Type BP6X, is rated at 1420 mAH (milliampere-hours, typical). So, if you were to use the cellphone, discharging it down to the 5 percent level (as indicated on the "Battery Management" screen of the cellphone), the time it would take to recharge the phone to 100 percent (fully charged state) would nominally be 95 minutes, calculated as follows:Recharge time = (Percent_discharged x Battery_capacity) / battery_charger rate, i.e., (0.95 x 1420) / 850 = 1.587 hours or 95 minutes.Similarly, charging rates for given percent battery discharges are:90% - 90 minutes80% - 80 minutes70% - 70 minutes60% - 60 minutes50% - 50 minutesThe above are "nominal" charging times...

Genuine Motorola Charger - Real Quality Power
This is an excellent USB charger, which delivers up to 950mAh power to your sensitive devices (In my case, a Motorola Droid 2). I have searched around the internet and have found a lot of issues people are experiencing with cheap chargers, especially newer smartphones. There are mixed results, but it seems that a "quality" charger is the safe way to go, as the generic chargers (including the cell phone company branded ones) can deliver "dirty" power. By dirty I mean it isn't a continuous flow of amps, with spikes or harmonic distortions. On most phones that have been made, this isn't a problem because the power is just filling the battery. Awesome Deal for OEM Droid Charger
I purchased these from Bargain Cell for my Droid X. They are identical in every way including output ratings of 5.1v === 850mA. The part number for the cable is SKN5004A while the charger's is SPN5504A. These are exactly the same as what came in my Droid X box.As any Droid X owner knows, the Droid X gulps battery power and you can't have enough chargers. I also happen to have a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) case for my DX. Unfortunately, the thicker cable ports on my long micro USB cables do not insert flush inside the micro USB port of my DX. However, the Motorola OEM cable ends are very thin and therefore plug in more easily and stay plugged in. This is why I only sought out chargers and cables that were Motorola OEM.Keep in mind that the cable is short. Charger for Driod 2 Global OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
I was looking for a charger for my Motorola Driod 2 Global but had some critias. First I wanted to buy directly from Amazon, not from a third party like Accessory Export or CrazyOnDigital b/c they usually send you a cheap knock off which breaks after a few days or doesn't work properly. And I wanted a OEM Motorola charger for my Driod.Luckly I found one on Amazon which was sold by Amazon and OEM Motorola charger. Exactly what I was looking for.I got it delivered by the eastimated date and works great.Just a little background, I did buy a cheaper charger from one of those cheap cell phone stores (CrazyOnDigital) but it broke after about a week of use. They do have a phone number but No ones answers it. I sent an email through Amazon to CrazyOnDitigal and they sent me a new one but that one I noticed works kind of strange with my phone. Nice long cord.
The charger that came with the Motorola Photon had a charging/USB cord that was too short (~24 - 30 inches) which would just barely reach from the outlet to the top of my nightstand. I went in search of a charger with a longer cord (which was more difficult than I expected) and one that did not use a USB cable (tends to disconnect just when I needed it). Anyway, this charger is great and meets all my expectations.

OEM Charger For The Motorola Droid 2 Global - Great Value
This is the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) charger that works with my Motorola Droid 2 Global. I got this charger as a replacement since the pins on the original charger became bent after a year and a half of use. This charger works quickly, as it's able to give my phone a full charge in under an hour, which is great because the battery life on the Droid 2 Global isn't that great. The cord is a decent length so I don't feel I am tied to a plug, but can use the phone while it's plugged in.The charger is a great value for the money spent and would spend a couple bucks to buy another one if it ever went out on me.

I tried several off-brand chargers with my Droid. Some don't charge the Droid and some make the touchscreen impossible to use. This is the only charger I found that charges the Droid and allows the touchscreen to work while it is plugged in.

Slow, But Cheap and Does the Job
I bought two of these as backup work chargers for our Droids. The ones we received do charge the Droid fine, though at about half the rate of the OEM wall charger that Motorola included with the Droid. Going from 25% to 100% takes about 4 hours, versus about 2 with the OEM charger.A couple things struck me about the charger compared to the OEM model. The cable is very thin, though longer, which is nice for out of reach plugs. The build quality is mediocore, and definitely below that of the OEM charger.My conclusion is the chargers work and are a good value compared with buying from the Verizon store. If you are looking for a quicker charge, it probably is worth getting the OEM model that came with your Droid. But for a backup charger it's hard to beat the value on this offering.One other suggestion.
