XT701/720 experience
I am pretty much a die-hard HTC fan, and I have been buying strictly Android phones since the T-Mobile G1 was released two years ago. I had a lovely HTC Desire and left it to try an XT701. I am extremely satisfied with the XT701. There are some noticeable advantages of this phone over the HTC Desire, and they are...1) BATTERY PERFORMANCE - my HTC Desire battery (as well as my G1 and other HTC Android phones) used to run down to around 20% to 30% at the end of day one. This would mean I had to charge up overnight on a nightly basis. BTW, I usually take my phones off charge around 7am. Yes the Desire has a 1Ghz processor and over twice the RAM of the XT701 but you don't really see any lag on the Motorola. Android is a very smooth-running OS.2) SPEAKER SOUND - I paid $650 for my HTC Desire and $400 for my XT701. The HTC has a very 'tinny' speaker sound and the Motorola has a more full range, AND plays louder than the HTC. Same applies for the in-call internal and external... Top to learn more

Great phone!
Wow, this phone is great. I purchased it from another site for a similar price. I was thinking about returning it to get an Evo 4g, however, I opened it up and although AT&T is more expensive than Sprint I'll stick it out for a little while longer because of this phone. This phone will work with AT&T's 3g network and I had no problems downloading from the Android Market. One bad thing is I can't send a MMS. I don't send that many video or picture messages but it would be nice to be able to. I think it's a compatibility issue since I took the sim card out of my iphone and stuck it in this bad boy. The camera takes nice pictures and it has a xenon flash and auto focus as well. The OS is as expected, great ( I see Android taking over in the years to come). I'm still new to Android but I'm already used to it. Like I mentioned before I have an iphone and I prefer to use this phone instead. The screen seems sharper than my 3gs and is highly responsive like the iphone. I would... Top to learn more

Ikross Bluetooth Visor Hands free
I absolutely love this product. It works well with my phone and is extremely easy to use. I have had other handsfree devices that did not work so well. The charge on this one lasts a long time. It does not matter where in the car my phone is located, the signal is strong. Top to learn more

work more on the buttons and I'll give it 5 stars.
First of all this isn't the first Bluetooth car kit I've used in my car, but it is the best one yet. I will start with good stuff first:- the built is quite good, although it looks cheap, once you hold it in your hand you find that it is not so bad at all.- the sound quality is great. Talking while driving on the highway, windows open is not a problem at all.- Connects to phone easily.- the best thing actually is the battery life, I've used it for a few months now and it still runs on the very first charge I made when I got it out of the box.Now for the downside:- the first drawback is the buttons, the timing you need to press the buttons to operate the device is a bit odd, for example you need to press the power on button for at least five seconds to start it, and that's quite a time for someone who want's to jump in the car, start the engine and drive off. the same goes for the other functions.- the second thing is the sun visor clip,... Bluetooth pairing speaker phone
Works well but does not pick up the connection on its own. Must be paired each day you enter the car. However, it doesn't disconnect right away so it should work well getting in and out of the car during the day. Mine sent a note to the phone that it was disconnecting about 10pm last night. I had paired it about 11:00 am when I was in the car. The voice quality is very clear on the sending and receiving end. I use it with my blackberry curve 9330 and my husband's 4s iphone. I give it 3 stars because it doesn't pair by itself after the initial pairing as many speaker phones now do. Top to learn more

The best scanner you can buy
This scanner is the top of the line for scanning enthusiasts. It is, hands-down, the best scanner ever made. That's a pretty big compliment, I know. But in more than 40 years of "monitoring", this is the most usable, flexible and featured radio I have ever had. It includes digital (P25) capability. However - if you are expecting instant results or plug-and-play operation, this is not for you. This radio has a learning curve and is truly a hobbyist radio. Having said that, if you are willing to invest the time in learning how the radio works, you will be rewarded with an excellent and enjoyable experience. For folks new to the hobby, or those who just want to listen to things without programming and details - get Uniden's Home Patrol. It's as simple as putting in your zip code - and you'll be listening. For the BCD996XT (and its handheld relative, the BCD396XT), it will require programming, using the included cable to connect to a computer. You will have to get... Top to learn more

Great Scanner!!
This scanner is Great!! I would advise you to get programing software for it and a Radio Reference account.. It took a little time to figure it out but READ THE USERS GUIDE!!! The reception is great even with the stock antenna. I would give this scanner a 5 out of 5...... Top to learn more
Great Radio...very poor documentation
If you can figure out how to program this radio you will be very happy with it. The sound quality is superior. The problem is the total lack of documentation that makes any sense. As a retired LEO I have been around scanners forever and after a week of pulling my hair out I gave up. I would offer my services to Uniden to write instructions which make sense. It turns out it is not all that complicated if there were step by step instructions. Until someone writes them you WILL need to find someone to program this for you and hopefully show you how to add things later. TIP: When you program it leave it open, meaning it will hear all channels being broadcast at the tower site. If an agency is too talkative push the lock out to eliminate them until you power down the radio. This will allow you to discover all kinds of traffic you might otherwise not know about. When you do this the agency name will not appear but a unique agency number will. Go to RadioReference.com to determine who it... Top to learn more

The sound is excellent for music and talking, they are comfortable, the cord is longer than others, and they work with my Motorola cell phones, and my Samsung phones, too. I hate the square speaker - it's obtrusive - and the answer/hangup/voice activation button doesn't work with my phone, even though the button has worked for this phone on other headsets. I frequently buy inexpensive headset headphones (e. g. , less than $10, usually less than $5) and use them most of the day, every day, so I don't expect them to be invincible. The casing around the jack slides off when I pull the headphones out of anything (e. g. , it seems that it's on there too loose), and now the casing around the wires ('below' the jack) is coming off, too. The headphones themselves are solid (not the best I've had for under $5), and I've gotten mixed reviews on the voice quality from recipients of phone calls.
