Fantastic features!
I purchased this phone in desperation. Orignally I paid $200.00 for a smartphone but I could not hear the conversation clearly no matter what I did. I also could not hear it "ring" even if I put the "ring" on the highest volume level and set the profile to "outdoor" <= this is the loudest profile available. Aside from being able to hear clearly or even being heard clearly, the monthly cost was $60.00+. The phone was so bad, I gladly paid the $300.00 penalty fee and moved to another carrier whose monthly cost was $10.00/month with a free phone. The free (non-smart) phone met my needs but the speakers in the phone obviously could not handle the loudest setting. (I think they cracked. a clear case of you get what you don't pay for.) Because my current $10/month carrier was ATT (uses SIM CARD), I was limited in my choices for a new phone. That is where the SAMSUNG SGH a777 comes in. A good cable!
Especially for the price, which is almost nothing. However, as someone pointed out, you need software to go with this cable so it can connect the phone to the PC. You need to download Samusung PC Studio (you can find it on Brothersoft) and install that, update it and then connect the phone via the USB cable and you're good to go! The PC Studio is very intuitive and makes it simple to work with files.

Works great once you get the right PC Studio software!!
This cable allows transfer of all files between PC and phone, But you have to download the right version of PC Studio, SGH A777 is not compatible with recent PC Studio versions. Go back to PC Studio 3, version 3.2.3.IE2, try that for a start. (Be sure to scan with a virus scanner before opening.You can also charge the phone through the USB port with this cable. Shame on Samsung for not including this and the software with the phone. (But I'd never buy another Samsung product anyway--that's another topic for review!!)Bottom line, this cheap cable is as good as any of the super expensive ones.

Good buy
Get this case if you're looking for a little extra protection for your phone. Durable and easy to attach. Doesn't interfere with the slide action at all. My only complaint would be it makes it a little harder to press the face buttons, but not enough to matter.

Great for the whole family
After hearing rumors and reading a few articles about the possible link between cell phone use and brain tumors/cancer, my entire family made the decision to switch to hands-free headsets (and away from bluetooth ones, since these are also suspected to be a problem by some).I bought 4 of these headsets for us to use, expecting them to be cheaply made but to do the trick. The quality is much finer than I expected; these are the real deal and not some knockoff. I haven't used them for music yet (my little sister assures me they work great though), but the sound quality for general phone use is fantastic...possibly even better than the phone itself. The earbuds seem to fit all of us fine and have made it easier to really cover up in the recent cold snap here since we can put these in and pull hat, scarves, etc right over them instead of leaving one ear exposed to the cold to answer the phone.While I'd pay good money for these, the truth is that I got 4 pairs for...
