Great tough phone
I've been using this phone for over a year and love it(except that it's my work phone). My company sends about 40 of us out travelling the back roads of northern Wisconsin every day and spent about 6 months testing phones and programs. This phone through Verizon was the winner. I have used 5 other phones and this is by far the best for reception in weak signal areas and battery life(maybe part of the weight someone complaines about). I've dropped it from waist height onto asphalt without any effect- not even a scratch. the big buttons and large numbers on the display decrease the tension level for calls in a hurry. Easy to use with bluetooth and voice commands.

What is there to say about the battery - well it arrived in the time frame given, and works great. Charged the phone overnight to make sure the battery was fully charged and have been able to get about 2-3 day on a charge - phone is in constant use for business and receives 20 - 75 txts per day. Great price for a replacement battery.

Nice, but...
This is a really nice case and fits the phone perfectly. The magnetic latch is excellent and it is fairly easy to remove the phone when you need it.Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to position the phone so that you can hear the ringer. No mater what you do the external speakers on the phone are covered by multiple layers of reinforced leather and fabric. I also tried vibration and it didn't really make a difference. Hopefully YMMV in that respect. There is no practical way to cut an opening for the speakers. Perhaps I should have tried gluing some kind of spacer to the front of the phone so that there is some clearance over the speaker. If anyone has found a solution, please let me know.I ended up switching back to a hard protective shell/cover and putting the phone in my pocket. FWIW, these shells look great on the phone, especially in candy red, but they make the phone too thick to fit in the leather pouch. I was able to fit the phone in the...

Best Convoy Holster
My job has certain hazards to my phone, and the convoy itself wasn't quite durable enough to stand up to it. The holster protects the phone extremely well, surpassing all my expectations. The way the holster is designed it protects the screen and the hinge, the two main weak points of the phone, and makes the phone one rigid unit, which prevents breaking the phone in half from the side (which I had previously done several times.)

Better than expected, but
I usally use a duluth tradeing company cell phone holder, becasue they are build tough and have a clip on and belt loop option. being left handed and having my phone on the left side, I cannot count the times I have broken clip on phone holders getting out of my truck because the hook on the seatbelt strap and break. I bought this just to have something a bit nicer for when I am going out and not at work. Its cradle and clip hold the phone extreamly secure, I do not see anyway that it will fall out or any problem like that. The only real problem with it is that it holds the phone screen side in, which dampers down the ringer. All in all though its a good product at a fair price

Helping Restore My Faith In Merchants
This started out as a 1 star minus review for the car charger sent to my mother for her Samsung 640. I ordered it for her because she wasn't good at charging it at home. The charger arrived 2 days after the latest expected due date and when she went to use it, nothing, I had my father check just to make sure. I contacted the merchant (Bastexwireless) through the appropriate Amazon channels and received a response and very satisfactory solution almost immediately. The merchant e-mailed me that they would send a replacement out immediately and that we would have nothing further to do other than letting them know that the replacement had arrived in working condition, which it did and with expedited shipping. I know it was only a $3 item, but once again, it was the point of the matter. As a bonus, my mother was impressed with how quickly "I" was able to rectify the situation. All in all, a good feeling about my $3 purchase thanks to Bastexwireless and Amazon. All Ends Well,...
