I love it....
Samsung has pulled it off again. A great piece of hardware for both viewing PC content and watching a little television when taking breaks from my splendid 1920 by 1080 resolution computing sessions. And I bought it at the same price as the Samsung 22" model three years ago. Admittedly, I am a Samsung loyalist but a great monitor is a great monitor for what it is intended for.

Works well for me!
For A monitor TV it does well. the Digital Tuner picked up all the unencrypted channels that it could and also removed the scrambled channels that it did pick up by accident which is nice.The HDTV at 1080 and 720 are nice quality, the 480 isn't as nice.Picture is nice. The sound is adequate but I hooked up a 2.1 speaker system to get more sound. I've only used the TV portion so far.The Menu is adequate. You can't label the channels if you're hooked up to the coaxial cable and picking up digital stations.The Remote works fine. However, when pressing the channel numbers, there's no <enter> so you have to wait about 2 seconds for the channel to change which isn't too bad considering others i've seen make you wait much longer.

Great Computer Monitor! + HDTV is nice to have as well.
I bought this monitor to replace my old Samsung 17" monitor.It has been a wonderful replacement so far.A couple things to note:1. The monitor does not have a height adjustment but it does have front to back tilt built into the stand.2. Make sure to securely tighten the screw under the base when attaching the stand to the monitor several people have complained the stand is wobbly if you do not tighten this screw tightly it will be.This is a great monitor do yourself a favor and buy it.

an excellent consumer model, a fair professional one
The P2370HD is an exceptional monitor for people with modest demands of their display. On the plus side, it has very good colour for a TN-type panel (more on this in a second), absolutely fantastic connection options, one of te fastest displays in current availability and a bright, vibrant picture which is only offset by a merely-average black level and some backlight bleed with extremely dark images (helped by Dynamic Contrast but not in all situations). It lacks a pivot, a terrible omission, but is still fairly stable on its (non-adjustable) base. It connects to 4:3 and 16:9 sources, even composite and component SD sources, as well as HDMI, DVI and VGA sources (but DualLink DVI-D is strongly advised), and the 1920x1080 native resolution is perfect for 16:9 movies and BluRay.Thus, if you simply need a very good TV or home computer display, stop reading now and get out your credit card. USED EXCLUSIVELY AS TV...........
Yeah that's right. I saw 1080p for $250 and jumped on it. I NEVER use this "monitor" as a monitor, so I cannot review that aspect of the P2370HD. There are only a handful of professional reviews on this product; the most notable being the awful CNET reviews and stupid youtube video showoffs and unboxings. Ignore that crap. Read on so you don't have to read 500 more customer reviews on google.Lemme start out with a true analysis of what everyone says is good or bad about this Monitor/HDTV.A lot of people complain about the sound. Well at first it does sound a little muffled, but just slightly. There is an option in the sound menu called HD surround. Even though I don't own an external speaker set, it makes the sound noticeably better for some reason. It also makes me feel like wealthy audiophiles who have an extra 600 dollars for Bose speakers were trying to find SOMETHING to complain about (plus usually in their reviews they talk about this TV a "kitchen TV!")...

Great HDTV for games
I'm cheap, I play a fair number of video games, and I love to tweak my TV settings to be as "accurate" as possible using reference images and calibration discs. The Samsung P2370HD exceeded my expectations (especially once I noticed an alternative way to fix the HDMI "blurring" issue others have mentioned).Right out of the box, color accuracy and black/white level are close to perfect. Like most TV's these days, settings for edge enhancement and dynamic contrast are on by default. Disabling those settings and dialing down the brightness 5 ticks put the grays, blacks, and whites where they needed to be. The only annoyance for me, and it's a minor one, is that the backlight is still brighter than I'd like even on its lowest setting. That's not a problem in a room with any light, but you do notice the glimmer in pitch dark.Game lag isn't an issue with this TV. If you use a digital camera to take photos of certain reference tests, you'll notice some frame drops...

Fix The HDMI-HDMI "Screen Looks Awful" Problem
Hey All, Just thought I'd post a quick "how to" here on fixing a serious image problem when you use an HDMI cable from your PC to drive the P2370HD (or any other Samsung TV) as a computer monitor. When first hooked up, text appears to be surrounded by some white border, and it looks like heck. The Fix is very simple.On the TV Menu, scroll down to the "Source List", arrow over ">" so Source List is highlighted, now arrow down "V" so "Edit Name" is highlighted, now arrow over again ">" to see the list, scroll down to highlight "HDMI", arrow over ">", now scroll to select either the "PC" or "DVI PC" options instead of the "--" option, Ta Daaaaaaaaaaa, press "Exit" on your remote. Your monitor should look mucho better.This TV/Monitor Rocks by the way! Love it! Buy It!

Great for use as both a TV and Computer Monitor!
I bought this tv on sale at Costco a couple of months ago. I LOVE it. I'm a college kid and just rent a room from someone, so this is the only tv I have and works perfect for everything I need.I love hooking it up to my macbook pro (the back of the tv has a built in computer vga cable input) and using it for streaming things from the internet, or just to have some extra desktop space while doing big graphic design projects.The picture quality is great - clear, bright colors.The sound isn't just incredible, but is great for a small TV. I'm considering getting some external speakers though for when I want to boost the bass - but the built in speakers do the job well and are plenty loud for everyone in the room to hear (I NEVER have to turn it up all the way).The interface for switching between Computer/TV/Wii works great - I enjoy the menu gui that is semi-transparent while still showing whatever you have playing behind it.Aesthetically speaking, this is a...

Okay, I admit it, I'm cheap. I didn't want to spend $300.00 on a monitor this size when I could get another brand with similar specs for almost half the price. But this monitor made me a believer. This monitor is so far about the others in it's class that I feel compelled to write a review. :)My current monitor broke, so I bought one of these locally (Samsung PX230) just to play with while I ordered a few competitors so I could take them all for a test drive. This is by far the best monitor I have ever had, that being said i have previouslyowned a 23" LED LCD 1080p and a 26" LCD monitor. Excellent Monitor - Very Happy
The PX2370 really doesn't need another positive review, just thought I would add mine because I had purchased 2 new Dell UltraSharp U2211H monitors, and replaced them with the PX2370. At Dell's website they advertise the U2211H monitor as being 20.25" x 7.25 " x 13.69" WDH. I have owned Dell UltraSharps and know they are good monitors, and based on the dimensions of this monitor, thought it would be good replacement for my 19" Dell UltraSharps. Well, when I received the monitors (I use dual monitors), I found the monitors were only 12 inches tall, which was a surprise. I wanted a monitor that was as least as tall as my 19", but wider.In my search for new monitors, it was going to be either the Dell or Samsung PX2370. I thought I could live with the U2211Hs (the monitor itself is quite good), but it was not the size I wanted. Amazing Monitor
I built a gaming rig and was looking for a nice 20+ monitor to finish the deal.I originally went with the HP 27" LCD monitor and was looking around, price comparing and spec comparing.I ended up looking at the Samsung LCD predecessor to this monitor, and went to buy it, and they were all out of stock. They asked if i would like this one as a replacement/upgrade, seeing the LED on the box sealed the deal.This monitor hooked up through HDMI is STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL! True color on intelligent during movies really adds a certain likelife contrast to the video.It is glass smooth playing games (MW2, L4D2, TF2, Bioshock 1&2, Crysis, ect.) It is the BEST monitor i have ever owned.An awesome buy and very well worth the price!

High end image, low end cost
Mac people would be wasting money to get the 24" studio LED instead of this. After calibration, this monitor epitomizes the advantages inherent to LED technology. Samsung seems to think the selling point is lower power consumption but it's really the visual accuity and dynamic range. If imaging is your business then this monitor, once calibrated, delivers quality only seen in higher end NEC, Eizo, and Apple monitors at a fraction of the cost.

The PERFECT gaming monitor!
I was in the market for a monitor to use with my PS3 (for my bedroom). I tried 2 other Samsung TV's (one was a Samsung 26" UN26C4000 and the other one was a Samsung 32" LN32C530) and both of these other Samsung TVs I bought has horrible ghosting artifacts during my game playing and movie watching. I couldn't stand it and it was giving me a headache.Then I saw the 23" LED XL2370 that I am reviewing right now and with the 2ms response time there is absolutely NO ghosting whatsoever and there's next to no lag. I'm so glad I returned the other 2 TV's and purchased this one. It has an HDMI port in the back for the PS3 to plug into and it even has an audio out jack (3.5mm) in the back to plug in external speakers. Therefore there is no need to run a separate cable from your PS3 to a speaker set.My games look very nice on this monitor (unless of course you're sitting 4 inches from it). From a normal distance of about 3 feet or so, your games will look just as good as...
