To address any prior review(s)....the SE TM717 is a dumb-phone, NOT a smartphone. Comparing this phone to a Blackberry, Android or iPhone isn't fair because it's not that type of phone. For one, you do NOT need an expensive data plan with this phone. The minimal $5-$10 data package that is available for these phones allows you email access, internet and possibly some text messaging allotment depending on your carrier.The good: GPS, 3.2mp camera, bluetooth, expandable memory slot, visual alert notifications, extremely thin design, lightweight, external display, RSS reader, (including podcasts) and 3G speeds. (Some of you may say "why not 4g?' to which I reply that there is no dumb-phone on the market that has any need for anything greater than 3G speeds.)The bad: T-Mobile has blocked out certain JAVA apps from executing and utilizing the network in order to function properly. I broke my previous phone and when I went back to TMobile they discontinued my Sony Ericsson Equinox phone! They tried to sell me other phones - LG, blackberry etc. No need for all those apps. Last Real Phone
This will be my second Equinox, first one I probably used to death, would not charge anymore. Now I'll have a spare battery and other things. I opted to get this again, great pictures, lots of memory, I really like the clamshell form, won't mess the screen when in my pocket, or mis-dial a number.

Absolutely Love This Product Which Should Be Standard On This Phone
I have two of these phones, one is and the other is , one of which is for business and the other for personal use. Now although I really love both of these phones, the only difference between the two is the color, the one thing I really didn't like was the fact that they were very hard to open with one hand. However, that all changed once I purchased one of these clear plastic covers. Not only do they protect your phone from everyday wear and tear, but they also do a pretty darn good job if you happen to be a fumble thumbs and drop the phone onto the floor, but they also make it much easier to open...

Pretty good case for the TM717
I bought this case, along with a black one, for my new phone a while back. I ended up giving this clear case to my wife because she has the teal phone and she wanted to be able to see her phone better. Both of the cases fit pretty well over the phone, although the clear case seemed to be a little more loose than the black case. One of the things that I like best about the case is that not only does it offer more protection from falls and scratches from being in your pocket, it makes it a lot easier to open the phone with one hand, which is pretty difficult without the case since the phone is so thin.

Works Great
I originally bought my phone in Europe. So, charging required an adapter which barely stayed on the wall. The connector for this phone is unlike those for any other phones or devices, so I had to get a dedicated charger for a Sony Ericsson phone. This one was for the right price and it works.
