3 Reasons why the xperia is better than the Iphone
Iphone 4 why pay more?After trying out various phones such as the iphone 3g, and blackberry tour I fell in love with this phone.Let me start out by saying that I liked the phone using the touchscreen so much that I felt like I didn't really need the keypad anymore which is a bummer. So yes the touch screen is very easy to use that not even the keyboard, which is the reason I bought it, is that useful. At times when you are writing a long text to write direction sure that can be very useful, but other than that the touch screen keyboard does a great job of saying your playful texts, invitations to your house party, or hellos.Reason I got this phone over the Iphone 3GNow the reason I didn't like the iphone 3g is the qwerty touchscreen. After using a blackberry there was no way the iphone was easier to touch than the blackberry, because you don't get feedback. size doesn't matter ;)
Please read this first: I am based in Los Angeles, California, USA. I use this phone with AT&T, I have a family plan with unlimited text messaging and I have a data plan (although this is NOT required unlike the iPhone data plan)I love this phone. But this isn't a five star phone.So unto my complaints first:- short battery life! Great substitute for the Iphone!
I just can think of enough bad things to say about this phone, i do not know what the people were talking about low battery life, on average i can get a full 2 days usage on one charge. The screen, sure it looks small, but when you compare it to the Iphone it is just a little smaller, and does not have all the bulkiness that an Iphone has. Another thing do not be afraid of the words International Version, many of these phones will come from the middle east and that is why that term. Note, because they come from the middle east their android marketplace is restricted to nothing. Easy fix, many of the phones will come pre-installed with android 1.6 on them, so simply download pc companion on your computer by inserting the provided data cable into the computer, and then you have android 2.1, which also features the android marketplace, and a few other tweaks here and there. I would recommend getting some kind of skin or cover to prevent your phone from scratching, as well as screen...

What's their problem?
I don't get the negative reviews on this site - they are not nearly as bad for other sellers. I wanted to counter the negative because I really love my SE X10 Mini. "It's Small" Well, of course it is. If you need a bigger screen, get a bigger phone. I guess I have good eyes. The text is tiny on the news readers, etc., but I don't have any problem with it. It syncs with my Kindle automatically, and I don't have any problem at all reading books on it. The resolution of the screen is not as good as an iPhone or the Samsung my dad owns; it would be nice to have better resolution, but it is good enough."The screen stays black when you are on the phone." Decent Phone if you upgrade the OS
This is pretty decent phone and considering I wanted a phone that is factory unlocked and works outside the US. My current phone is the iPhone 4 but is locked to ATT and I am not ready to pay enormous fees to ATT when I travel outside the US. I looked at many phones before settling on this one. Here are the reasons:1. Need a smaller phones, fits easily in any pocket.2. Good battery life (more on that later)3. Great features and capacitive touch screen (very important).Buyers beware that if you buy the international version of the X10 mini, the 3G frequency band is different and will not work with ATT on 3G. However, the phone will switch to the slower 2G (edge) speeds in the US. It may work with TMobile as one of the band is common. I did not test that.Now on to the interesting stuff. Buy it for size , buy it for looks
If you use the phone for lot of emails and messagesgo get a fat phone from your provder or some other expensive bulky gadget.But if you are an occational smart feature user and like the small form factor buy this one.Buy this one knowing that it is small in size, has a small battery and little slower than other expensive phones .After buying don't complain about usability or size or life of battery.If you do not use lot of smart features like email, messaging and browing etc,use the readily available power widget to turn of wifi, data,location and blutooth servicesto save battery life.Since it has smaller capacity battery it discharges fast. Also it charges very fast.I haven't experienced any freezes so far. Touch screen is responsive. All else is fine

Got the phone on time, packed nicely with everything advertised, and a 2 gb sd card in side.Looks good, behaves good, for a Sony. Battery is about 4 hours non stop on wifi, 2G i don't know yet , stand by well a lot.Get it u will not even know u got a phone in your pocket.

Fits in your 5th pocket of your jeans.
The phone is really a nice size in the world , bigger is always better.Set up with ATT was automatic. Everything worked perfect. It fit easy in the 5th pocket of the jeans, even sideways, testing was a snap after installing a free keyboard(hate T9) the battery was excellent 2-3 days easy with normal use, my Aria could not get even one day.Pictures are very sharp and clear, much nicer then my iphone4, sound is great and reception was awesome always had at least 3 bars out of 4.All around a great phone, however I love phones and sent it back for a newer toy.I would buy this phone again, in a heart beat.

Fits well in your pocket, but the touchscreen is sometimes hard to handle
This was my first smartphone. The apps of the android system are great, but if you download many of them your system is likely to crash a lot. The touchscreen may be cool at first, but sometimes simple tasks such as dialing or saving a number may become annoying, especially if the system gets slower and slower due to apps. The battery life is not too good. I have to recharge the phone daily even if I didn't make a long phone call. I am satisfied with the camera, which produces very good photos in my opinion. What makes this phone great is its size, look and the camera. Although the size makes this phone pretty handy, the touchscreen and the system may not be very convenient especially for basic usage such as phone calls and sms. All in all, I still like it but I think I should have bought the version with integrated keypad.
