Not Grade 5 titanium but strong enough
I needed to replace the 3/8-16 aluminum stud kingpins on my quad skates with a stronger material, as the aluminum ones had broken twice while skating outdoors. The thread quality was excellent and there were no visible dings or imperfections. The 12" length was generously measured (actually almost 12.25"), and even losing the thickness of (3) hacksaw cuts, I was still able to make four 3+" kingpins out of a 12" piece. Very satisfied! Just wish the stronger Grade 5 was also available.

Threaded Rods and Studs are intended for situations when fast assembly and disassembly are required. Studs are generally shorter in length than Threaded Rods.
Nonmagnetic and lightweight, Titanium exhibits high strength to weight ratios, excellent temperature stability, and good corrosion resistance. Compared to Stainless or Alloy steels, commercially pure Titanium weighs approximately 44% less and is equal, or greater, in yield and tensile strength. Titanium will withstand temperatures up to 800F (up to 2000F for short periods) and is resistant to the corrosive effects of salt water, many acids, alkalis, and other chemicals.
A threaded fastener's size name includes information about the major external diameter, followed by the threads per inch, which indicates if it is coarse or fine. Coarse threads are better when working with brittle materials; they are sturdier and are easier to thread and unthread compared to fine.
